Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will brief multi-party MP delegations this evening ahead of their visits abroad, taking India’s strong message against terrorism to the world. The delegations led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and NCP (SCP leader) Supriya Sule will leave for their visits tomorrow, whereas the delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad will leave the day after tomorrow.
Baijayant Panda-led delegation will go to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Algeria, and the Shashi Tharoor-led delegation will represent India’s collective resolve against terrorism in the US, Panama, Guyana, Brazil and Colombia. The delegation led by Ms Supriya Sule will visit Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia and South Africa, and the delegation led by Mr Ravi Shankar Prasad will go to the UK, France, Germany, the EU, Italy and Denmark.
The all-party delegations will soon engage key nations under Operation Sindoor, reflecting India’s collective resolve against terrorism. The delegations are a powerful reflection of national unity above politics, which carries a shared message of zero tolerance to terrorism.
