The First-Level Checking (FLC) of the Electronic Voting Machine for the Assembly election in West Bengal will be conducted on the 21st of November at Newtown in Kolkata. The ECI team, led by Sr Deputy Election Commissioner Gyanesh Bharti, will be present in the workshop. This team is touring West Bengal at present for the review of SIR in the State. 

 

 

Madhusudan Gupta, Secretary, Election Commission of India and P.C. Mondal, Senior Deputy General Manager of the Electronics Corporation of India Limited, will also join the programme on Friday. The office of the Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal, has informed all the 24 District Election Officers DEOs to join the FLC checking workshop.
