Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the first day of school is not just a beginning but a shared national responsibility, which needs to be embedded among the students. In a social media post, Mr Modi made these remarks while sharing an article written by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in an English daily. The Prime Minister added that under the National Education Policy 2020, India is continuing to nurture curiosity and holistic development with an immense focus on foundational literacy and joyful learning. He also urged people to read the article written by Mr Pradhan.
