First coal railway rake from Gare Palma Sector-2 coal mine reaches Koradi Thermal Power Station 

The first coal railway rake from the Gare Palma Sector-2 coal mine in Chhattisgarh, operated by Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited, reached the Koradi Thermal Power Station today.
 
The rake was formally received by Chief Minister and State Energy Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Fadnavis said the project will enhance the efficiency of coal supply to the Koradi plant and significantly strengthen the state’s power generation capacity. 
 
The coal mine took nearly eight years to become operational and is expected to have a lifespan of about 77 years, ensuring a steady and reliable supply of coal.
