The Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis has thanked the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister for providing the Vande Bharat train on one of the busiest route of Nagpur-Pune. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were present at Nagpur Railway Station today for witnessing the virtual flagging off ceremony of Vande Bharat train. This is 12th Vande Bharat in the state and 4th for Nagpur so far. This Vande Bharat Express will be the longest running Vande Bharat, covering a distance of 881 kms.
It will have stoppages at Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Shegaon, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahmednagar and Daund Chord Line. A large number of school students and citizens were present to experience the trial run of Vande Bharat. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis interacted with the students and passengers and also inspected the Vande Bharat train. With flagging of – Nagpur-Pune Vande Bharat by the Prime Minister the regional connectivity between sub capital city of Nagpur and cultural capital Pune will get a new boost as the people from across the background including educational and IT sector will get a rapid and comfortable mode of rail transport.
