The first randomisation of Electronic Voting Machine- Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail ( EVM-VVPATs ) for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections has been completed. In a statement, the Election Commission said that the randomisation was done through the EVM Management System by the District Election Officers in the presence of the representatives of National and State Recognised Political Parties. The Poll Body added that constituency-wise lists of randomised EVMs and VVPATs were shared with the representatives of all National and State Recognised Political Parties. It said, these EVMs and VVPATs will be stored in the concerned Assembly Strong Room in the presence of the representatives of National and State Recognised Political Parties. The list will also be shared with all the contesting candidates.
