Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav today held a virtual meeting with Australian Minister for Climate and Energy Chris Bowen from New Delhi. In a social media post, Mr Yadav said they discussed priorities for the Conference of the Parties (COP 31) and key agendas that will shape negotiations later this year.

Mr Yadav underlined that with India’s enhanced Nationally Determined Contributions for 2031–35 submitted to the UNFCCC, the country remains firmly committed to being part of the solution.
