In Chhattisgarh, eleven Maoists, including five women, surrendered in Narayanpur district today. A total reward of thirty-seven lakh rupees had been declared on them. The surrendered Maoists were provided cheques of fifty thousand rupees each as incentive assistance under the State Government’s rehabilitation policy.
