Elections to select nine members of the Maharashtra Medical Council will be held across the state tomorrow, with around 1.4 lakh registered medical practitioners eligible to vote.
An official statement of the Medical Education and Drugs Department stated that 60 candidates have filed nominations for the poll. Polling will be conducted at district headquarters under the supervision of District Collectors from 8 am to 5 pm. Details of polling centres and voter lists have been made available on the council’s official website. The counting will take place on April 29 at the Haffkine Training, Research and Testing Institute in Parel, Mumbai.
