The Election Commission published the fourth supplementary voter list of West Bengal last night. However, even after the release of the new list, clarity is still missing on the exact number of names added and removed. Commission sources indicate that yesterday’s list includes around 2 lakhs new voter names. With this, the four supplementary lists together have published nearly 35 lakhs of names. Meanwhile, as per the report received from the Election Commission, about 40 lakhs of names have been processed so far. But due to incomplete e-sign verification, many of these names have not yet appeared in the published lists.
