The Election Commission is steadily expanding digital services to make the Special Intensive Revision process faster, easier and more accessible for every voter. As part of these efforts, many voters are now filling in and submitting their SIR verification forms online from the comfort of their homes.
From Puducherry, college student Bhavatharini shares her experience of using this convenient online facility for the first time, and explains how other voters, too, can make use of this simple and user-friendly process.
This is my first time voting. When the authorities informed me that my name could be added online, I used the ECI Net website. The process was very simple. I entered my name and mobile number, received an OTP, and then filled out the SIR form and validated it with my Aadhaar.
The whole process took barely five minutes. I have recommended the ECI Net website to everyone. My sister also completed her SIR enumeration using this facility, and several of my friends have used it as well.
