In Ladakh, Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across Kargil district with religious devotion and simplicity. Thousands of people gathered to offer special Eid prayers in a subdued atmosphere.
The main congregational prayers were held at Inqilab Manzil and Hussaini Park, where a large number of devotees participated and offered prayers for peace, unity, and harmony in the world.
Similar congregations and Eid prayers have been reported from Drass, Sankoo, Tai Suru, Chiktan, and Zanskar. On the occasion, people were also seen offering fitra to the poor and needy, an essential charitable practice associated with Eid.
