Muslims across Andhra Pradesh are celebrating Ramzan (Eid al-Fitr) with devotion and communal harmony today. In Vijayawada, Muslims in large numbers gathered at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium for special prayers organised by the Eidgah committee. Devotees offered prayers and exchanged greetings, reflecting unity and goodwill.

 

Religious leaders said the festival symbolises peace, compassion and brotherhood, marking the end of a month-long fasting period devoted to prayer and discipline. They expressed hope for prosperity, good rains and public well-being. Similar prayers were held across towns and cities in the state.
