In Keralam, the Election Commission of India has transferred five senior officials and appointed new officers to their posts. The newly appointed officers have been directed to assume charge before tomorrow morning.
According to the Commission’s order, DIG-level officers Narayan and Thomson Jose have been posted as the new Police Commissioners of Kozhikode and Thrissur, respectively.
Inbasekhar will take charge as the new District Collector of Alappuzha. S. Vandana has been appointed as the Revenue Divisional Officer of Taliparamba, while Sachin Krishna will serve as the District Registrar General in Kannur.
It has also been directed that the officials who have been transferred out should not be assigned any election-related duties.
