Secretary (West) of the External Affairs Ministry, Sibi George, called on the Speaker of Alþingi – the Parliament of Iceland, Mrs Þórunn Sveinbjarnardóttir – today. In a social media post, the External Affairs Ministry said that during the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest in bilateral, regional and multilateral relations, as well as the importance of parliamentary exchanges.
