External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar today met his Japanese counterpart Motegi Toshimitsu. In a social media post, Dr Jaishankar said that the two leaders, who met on the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit in Malaysia, discussed bilateral ties between India and Japan.
He added that the two countries agreed to work closely to implement the joint vision for the next decade co-operation between India and Japan. The leaders also exchanged perspectives on the global situation and the Indo Pacific cooperation.
He further said that their conversation reflected the strength and warmth of the Special Strategic and Global Partnership between India and Japan.
