External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar interacted with General Secretary of Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Party, Tilvin Silva and his delegation from Sri Lanka. In a social media post, he said that both countries discussed growth opportunities and social welfare initiatives. He also noted that India has stood by Sri Lanka during the economic crisis and in the aftermath of Cyclone Ditwah. Mr Jaishankar further added that India will always remain a true and trusted partner for Sri Lanka.
