External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar highlighted that the world will see self-reliance, technology, multi-polarity and South-South cooperation reinforcing each other as it faces uncertainty.

Speaking at the annual ORF panel discussion in New York yesterday, Dr Jaishankar said there will be an emergence of a global workforce that will adjust to contemporary requirements. He also stated that trade will find a way to overcome tariff and non-tariff barriers, creating new priorities and flows and leveraging physical and digital efficiencies. He said new trade arrangements and understandings will emerge, driven by new concerns and compulsions.
