In Jammu and Kashmir, the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has announced winter vacations for all government and recognised private schools in the summer zone areas of Jammu Division.

 

 

According to the order, issued by the Directorate, students from pre-primary to Class 5th will observe winter vacations from December 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026. For students of Classes 6th to 8th, the vacations will be from December 26, 2025, to January 10, 2026, while students of Classes 9th to 12th will remain on winter break from December 29, 2025, to January 10, 2026. 

 

 

The order directs all teaching staff to remain available during the vacation for academic activities if required and report back to their schools on January 10, 2026.
