External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu held a high-level meeting with top executives from Airbus and IndiGo in New Delhi yesterday. The focus of the talks was on strengthening India’s civil aviation sector and deepening economic ties between India and Europe. In line with India’s push for self-reliance and sustainable growth, the discussions also touched on areas including technology transfer, manufacturing partnerships, and green aviation.
Dr. Jaishankar, in a post on social media, said he was pleased to engage with the leadership of Airbus and IndiGo, alongside his cabinet colleague. He highlighted the growing India-Europe connection and emphasized the strategic opportunities arising from India’s rapid infrastructure and economic transformation.
