NITI Aayog Member Rajiv Gauba today said that in order to establish the structural foundation for India’s future economy, the government has enhanced our connectivity via PM Gati Shakti, broadened highways, and developed the Vande Bharat rail network. Addressing the CII Annual Business Summit 2026 in New Delhi, he highlighted that India has the world’s third-largest metro system and a flourishing Semiconductor Mission. He added that the country must seize this moment to ensure India remains on this trajectory of bright and resilient growth. Mr Gauba called on industry bodies to work more closely with state governments and local bodies, describing them as key stages for factor market reforms.
