In UP, district authorities have announced closure of schools in Lucknow today due to heavy rainfall and lightning. It has been raining heavily in the city since Sunday, and as per the weather forecast, more rainfall is expected today.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department  – IMD said that the monsoon is expected to be normal across the country during this month.
