In Jammu and Kashmir, Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat visited Udhampur district to assess the ground-level security situation and review ongoing operations in the mountainous region yesterday. As part of his continued outreach to police and security personnel across the hinterland and border belts, the DGP evaluated operational preparedness, anti-terror strategies, and coordination among forces deployed in sensitive areas of  J&K.

The DGP was accompanied by IGP Jammu Zone Bhim Sen Tuti, IG CRPF Gopal Rao, SSP Udhampur Amod Nagpure, and senior officers of CRPF and Army during the visit. The top police officer interacted with field units, reviewed recent security developments, and reaffirmed the commitment of J&K Police and security forces to maintaining peace and ensuring robust counter-terror operations across the region.
