Deputy Chief of Mission in the Russian Embassy in New Delhi, Roman Babushkin, expressed happiness in attending the President’s address to the joint sitting of both Houses of the Parliament. Speaking exclusively to Akashvani News, Mr Babushkin said that the past and recent achievements of Indian parliamentarianism highlight the country’s strong development.
He said that India has become a global leader in areas such as the production of rice, the export of electric vehicles and in the promotion and support of other key areas of development. He noted that these achievements underline India’s position as a progressive and leading nation in the world. Mr Babushkin further ensured that Russia will actively support India at the upcoming AI India Impact Summit 2026.
Ambassadors from 37 countries attended the President’s address in the Lok Sabha Chamber. These included representatives from Russia, Australia, China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Trinidad and Tobago, among others.
