The Department of Youth Affairs under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports will organise a two-day MY Bharat-NSS Chintan Shivir in Bengaluru starting tomorrow. Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Nikhil Khadse will attend the Chintan Shivir. The Ministry said the programme aims to strengthen youth engagement frameworks and improve the implementation of youth programmes across states through Mera Yuva Bharat and the National Service Scheme. The event will be held at the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine. The first day of the Chintan Shivir will focus on Samvaad Se Samadhaan, with discussions on policy alignment, digital youth engagement through the MY Bharat portal, the Annual Action Plan for 2026 and inter-ministerial convergence for youth empowerment. The second day will focus on Samadhaan Se Sankalp, where participants will work on policy labs, solution design and action planning to strengthen programme delivery and coordination among states. The programme will also include discussions on FIT India and the roadmap for the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2027.
