The Delhi Police Crime Branch has busted a fake medicine manufacturing racket in the National Capital and some parts of Uttar Pradesh. Talking to Media, Crime Branch Deputy Commissioner of Police Aditya Gautam said they have arrested 6 people in the case so far. He added that the accused were involved in manufacturing, packaging and supplying these counterfeit medicines under the different brand names. Mr Gautam added that these individuals had been carrying out this operation since 2011-12 and supplying medicines to various states of the northern parts of the country.
