The India Meteorological Department has forecast cold weather conditions over Bihar tomorrow. Dense to very dense fog has been predicted for Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh for the day. Dense fog conditions will prevail over Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.

 

Similar conditions will exist over Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand and North-east India. The Met Department has also forecast squally weather conditions along and off the Somalia coast, adjoining sea area, over the Comorin area and some parts of the Gulf of Mannar.

 

Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR is in the very poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index (AQI) of the National Capital was recorded at 398 as of 8 PM today.
