On the second day of the winter session of the Delhi legislative assembly, Delhi Legislative Affairs Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh introduced the Court Fees (Delhi Amendment) Bill 2026 today in the house. The bill seeks to provide relief to the people by ensuring a full refund of fees, whether the settlement is done outside court or in court.

The bill will also remove small difficulties from common people’s lives. Meanwhile, a special discussion on the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur was also held during the session. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the life, sacrifice and character of Guru Tegh Bahadur are not limited to any one era or community.
