Delhi High Court has launched its Mobile App, the e-HRMS Portal for Judicial Officers, the e-Office Pilot Project, the onboarding of the MCD Appellate Tribunal and Juvenile Justice Boards (JJBs) onto the e-Courts platform, as well as the Digital Preservation of Judicial Records. These projects aim to digitally and technologically strengthen the judiciary.
During the launch ceremony, Justice Vikram Nath, Judge and Chairperson of the E-Committee of the Supreme Court; Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya; Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta; and Justice Prathiba M. Singh were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that this initiative marks a historic step towards making India’s judicial system more robust, transparent, and time-bound. She emphasised that the enhanced use of digital platforms will play a transformative role in ensuring accessible and speedy justice for citizens. Expressing her gratitude to all the judges, Ms. Gupta affirmed that the Delhi Government stands in full partnership with the judiciary. She also announced that the Delhi Government will now provide four law researchers to each judge to assist with case studies, and their honorarium has been increased to 80,000 rupees.
