Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated a project to underground the overhead electricity wires in Chandni Chowk today. On the occasion, she said Chandni Chowk has been a vibrant hub of trade and culture for centuries, but the overhead electricity wires pose a challenge to the beauty and safety of it. She added that the project is a commitment to making Delhi’s heritage secure, organised, and beautiful.
