Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today inaugurated the International Film Festival Delhi, IFFD 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital. The week-long festival will showcase over 130 films from across the world, marking a major addition to India’s global cinema calendar. Free public screenings, discussions, workshops, and cultural programs will also be organized as part of this film festival.
Talking to Akashvani News exclusively Mumbai-based independent film maker and producer Bhargav Saikia expressed his gratitude to the Delhi Government for organizing the International Film Festival. He added that this festival is significant because it will provide a platform for independent films to be viewed on a large scale.
