Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today inaugurated over 70 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Gupta said that the Ayushman Arogya Mandirs will offer a wide range of facilities at the local level including regular health check-ups, free essential and common medicines, maternal and child healthcare services and online tele-consultation with specialist doctors. She described this initiative as a transformative step towards strengthening and modernising Delhi’s primary healthcare system. The Chief Minister added that nearly 250 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have already been established across Delhi, and the target is to set up more than 1,000 such centres.
