India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today.

 

 

The Met Department has said that heavy rainfall is likely to occur in parts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

 

 

IMD has also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Odisha, Telangana, Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands for today. 

 

 

Meanwhile, the national capital, Delhi’s air quality is in the very poor category. According to Central Pollution Control Board, the Air Quality Index was recorded at 347.
