Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Felicitates Sanitation Workers, Ministers Join ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2025’ Campaign

 
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh felicitated sanitation workers as part of the ‘Swacchata hi Sewa’ campaign at Army Headquarters in New Delhi, today. On the occasion, Mr Singh said that the way ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan’ has reached every person in the country in the form of a revolution is amazing. He added that the nation is celebrating Swachhata Diwas today as part of that revolution.
 
 
Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh were also present on the occasion.
 
 
Union Health and Family Welfare Minister and BJP president JP Nadda joined the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign in New Delhi. In a social media post, Mr Nadda said that, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, every act of cleanliness is a tribute to our shared duty towards a Swachh Bharat. He also urged people to take part in a cleanliness drive. 
 
 
Union Minister of Jal Shakti, CR Patil, joined the cleanliness drive at Kalindi Kunj Ghat in the National Capital. Talking to the Media, Mr Patil said, on the occasion of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary, the government is carrying forward its resolution to clean the Yamuna River. Mr Patil appealed to the citizens to pledge to the cleanliness of the country. 
 
 
Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Jadhav joined the cleanliness drive at Nirman Bhawan.
