Defence Forces Veterans Day observed with wreath-laying ceremony at Mumbai Naval Dockyard

On the occasion of the 10th Defence Forces Veterans Day, a wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Gaurav Stambh, Naval Dockyard in Mumbai, to honour the valour, courage, dedication, and sacrifices of the nation’s brave men and women in uniform.
 
 
Floral wreaths were laid by Lieutenant General D.S. Kushwah AVSM SM, General Officer Commanding, Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa Area, Vice Admiral Rahul Vilas Gokhale YSM NM, Chief of Staff, Western Naval Command, Air Vice Marshal P.S. Wadodkar, Air Officer Commanding, Maritime Air Operations and Rear Admiral Shantanu Jha, Flag Officer Commanding Maharashtra Naval Area. Floral wreaths were also laid by Defence Forces Veterans.
 
 
A Tri-Service Ceremonial Guard was paraded during the event, which was conducted to pay tribute to the valour, courage, dedication and sacrifices of numerous bravehearts in the line of duty.
 
 
The solemn ceremony reflected the deep respect and gratitude of the Armed Forces towards their veterans and reaffirmed the enduring traditions of honour and service that define the Indian Armed Forces.
