The Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS) today organised the 5th District Collectors’ Peyjal Samvad to review progress under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The virtual meeting was chaired by DDWS Secretary Ashok K K Meena.

The meeting was attended by more than 1500 participants across the country, including District Collectors, Mission Directors and State Mission Teams. During the meeting, districts shared field innovations in Community Engagement, Ranney Wells for bulk water supply, 24×7 water supply, planned Information, Education, and Communication, IEC for Jan Bhagidari and Operation and Maintenance systems.
