DARPG releases 48th Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System monthly report for April

The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has released the 48th Monthly Report on Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) for the month of April.
 
Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said that nearly one lakh 88 thousand grievances were redressed by central ministries and departments in March this year, with average grievance disposal time of 13 days. Over 76 thousand new users have registered on the CPGRAMS portal in April, with maximum registrations from Uttar Pradesh.
 
The Department of Telecommunications, Department of Posts and Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs are amongst the top performers in the Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index within the Group A for the month. Further, the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of Steel are amongst the top performers in Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index within the Group B for the month.
 
The Department also released the 45th monthly report for States and Union Territories for April. The department added that more than 88 thousand cases were received, and over 77 thousand grievances were redressed by the states and UTs last month.
