CSC Crosses ₹3,000 Cr in Loan Disbursals Since July 2023 Under Digital India Push

In a landmark stride for financial inclusion under the Digital India initiative, Common Services Centres, e-Governance Services India Limited has crossed the significant milestone of disbursing three thousand crore rupees loan since July 2023. The programme has shown rapid growth, with disbursals of 86 crore rupees in 2023-24, one thousand 631 crore in 2024-25, and one thousand 300 crore rupees till August this year in the current financial year.
 
 
Electronics and IT Ministry said, so far, nearly 70 thousand people have benefitted. The initiative has promoted entrepreneurship, strengthened families, and boosted local economies by supporting rural households and small businesses. The Ministry said, Common Services Centres has enabled timely and affordable credit for underserved and marginalised communities in remote rural areas.
 
 
Common Services Centres, e-Governance Services India Limited, is a special purpose vehicle under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, managing one of the world’s largest digital service delivery networks. With over 5.8 lakh village level entrepreneurs, CSC delivers essential government and financial services to citizens in rural and remote areas, promoting digital and financial inclusion.
