As part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, a spirited rally was organised by CRPF’s Group Centre in Pune today. Hundreds of CRPF bikers, with pillion riders proudly holding the Tricolour and placards, were seen spreading the message of patriotism and national pride in the local community. Many local residents spontaneously joined the rally, raising spirited slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” creating an atmosphere charged with unity and national pride. Concluding the event, DIG Vaibhav Nimbalkar appealed to citizens to proudly hoist the national flag at their homes.
The rally served as a symbolic reminder of India’s hard-won independence, reinforcing the values of unity, commitment, and love for the nation. Meanwhile, Tiranga Rallies were also organized in Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Parbhani and Latur districts among others. While a cleanliness campaign was organized in Nanded as part of the celebrations, a bike rally and Tiranga Race was held in Palghar. The race saw participation from about 300 citizens and students, who carried a 30 feet long Tricolor. In Panvel, the civic administration has been holding letter writing and quiz competitions across schools and colleges as part of the campaign.
