In Jammu and Kashmir, various parts of the Jammu region have been witnessing continuous heavy rainfall since late last night. The Met department has predicted light to moderate rain at many places with heavy to very heavy rain at a few places in Jammu, Reasi, Udhampur, Samba, Kathua and Rajouri districts. Meanwhile, moderate to heavy and intense showers affected Poonch, Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar, and parts of the Kashmir division. In view of the inclement and adverse weather conditions, all Government and Private schools across the Jammu Division will remain closed today for the second consecutive day.
