The Congress has released the list of 284 candidates for the upcoming Assembly Elections in West Bengal. The party has nominated former MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury from Baharampur, Pradip Prasad from Bhabanipur, former MP Mausam Noor from Malatipur, S K Jariatul Hossain from Nandigram, Shubhashish Bhattacharya from Panihati and Ranajit Mukherjee from Bidhannagar. 

 

The polling for the 294-member Assembly in West Bengal will be held in two phases. First phase voting is scheduled on April 23, and the second phase on April 29. The counting of votes is scheduled for May 4.
