In Punjab, Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khehra has been taken into custody by the state police. As per reports, a police team from Jalalabad in Fazilka district raided his house in Chandigarh today morning. The action has been taken in regard to a  Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) case registered against him in the year 2015.
