Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia reviewed the preparations for India Mobile Congress 2025, Asia’s premier telecom and tech event. The four-day mega event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi.

During the event, global telecom leaders, innovators, startups, and policymakers will unite under one roof to shape the roadmap for 6G, AI-native networks, satellite communications and next-generation digital infrastructure, reaffirming India’s leadership in the global telecom arena.
During his visit, Mr. Scindia took a detailed tour of the exhibition area, interacted with participating startups and exhibitors. He chaired review meetings with senior officials of the Department of Telecommunications, the Cellular Operators Association of India, and partner agencies.

Addressing the media, Mr. Scindia outlined the scale, ambition, and global significance of IMC 2025. He said that this event will usher in a new paradigm for connectivity, where telecommunications become the highway and pathway for technologies such as 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and satellite communications to connect not only India internally, but also India with the world.

This year’s India Mobile Congress will host more than 1.5 lakh visitors, seven thousand delegates and participants from over 150 countries, along with 400 exhibitors.
