Famous comedian and veteran actor of Punjabi cinema Jaswinder Bhalla died this morning in a private hospital in Mohali. He was 65 years old. According to the information received, his last rites will be performed tomorrow at noon at Balongi crematorium.
Born in Doraha town of Ludhiana, Jaswinder Bhalla obtained an M.Sc. from Punjab Agricultural University and a PhD from Chaudhary Charan Singh Post Graduate College, Meerut. Jaswinder Bhalla, who came to the comedy and film world from teaching, left an indelible mark on the entertainment world with his unique comic style and memorable characters in films.
He started his career in 1988 and worked in many popular Punjabi films, including Carry On Jatta, Naukar Vohti Da. His film journey started with the film “Dulla Bhatti”. He also performed in various programs of Jalandhar Doordarshan at the beginning of his career.
