Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi urged Army commanders to reinforce jointness, integration, and innovation to meet the demands of present and future battlefields. He said this while addressing the senior leadership of the Mechanised Infantry during the Biennial Mechanised Infantry Commanders’ Conference 2025, which was held in New Delhi on the 4th and 5th of this month.
He also emphasised the evolving contemporary tactics, techniques, and procedures in multi-domain warfare. The two-day conference involved substantive deliberations on “Mechanised Infantry as Lead Integrator in Combined Arms Operations,” with emphasis on emerging operational paradigms, unmanned aerial systems, and multi-domain warfare.
