Union Coal Mines minister G. Kishan Reddy has said India has overtaken several countries due to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

Speaking at the Basthi Visit he held in Hyderabad yesterday, the minister noted that while advanced countries faced multiple problems, India enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere with public support, smoothly implementing development programmes. He urged people to strengthen Mr Modi’s leadership this new year to propel the nation forward as the world’s Vishwaguru.

 

 

He said the policies and programmes taken up by the Modi government in infrastructure, welfare, peace and security, foreign policy, economic reforms, and GST implementations have reduced prices for public benefit. He asserted that terrorism has been curbed, with Pakistan’s ISI-backed threats firmly crushed. Earlier, he directed officials of various departments to resolve problems of the residents and provide seamless civic amenities to the residents of the slums and bastis he visited.
