In Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah chaired a review meeting of the Power Development Department at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu yesterday to assess steps aimed at providing relief to the public. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply across the region.

Stressing on responsive governance, CM asked the department to promptly address public grievances related to electricity services. He also emphasized on strengthening service delivery mechanisms. Officials briefed him on ongoing projects, power supply status and measures being taken to upgrade infrastructure and enhance efficiency in the power distribution system.
