The Bihar State Women’s Commission is celebrating its 24th Foundation Day today. On this occasion, the foundation day ceremony was held at the Adhiveshan Bhavan in Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the foundation day function. The Chief Minister also launched a special website of the State Women’s Commission. With this facility, women will now be able to file their complaints and grievances with the Commission online.

 
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, National Women’s Commission Chairperson Vijay Rahatkar, and State Women’s Commission Chairperson Apsara Mishra were also present at the ceremony. On the Foundation Day of the State Women’s Commission, a “Mahila Jagriti Samvad “was also organised to educate and aware women towards their rights.
