NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Suman Bery said today that climate finance involves both mitigation and adaptation. Speaking at a function organised by a traders’ organisation in New Delhi, Mr. Bery highlighted that climate finance can help expedite sustainability.

Speaking at a session on Financing Climate Transition, Member of the High-Level Committee on Simultaneous Elections, N K Singh, said that there is a need to examine and create a form of financing that is based on blended finance and receives hybrid capital. He mentioned that there are issues around underwriting exchange rate fluctuations that need to progress faster.
