The Ministry of Civil Aviation will host Asia Pacific Accident Investigation Group meeting along with workshop from 28th of this month. Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu is scheduled to inaugurate the event. The event will be attended by approximately 90 representatives from aircraft accident investigation authorities of Asia Pacific countries.

 

 

The Ministry said that various aspects of aircraft accident investigations, including the processes and reporting, will be discussed in the four day event. It added that the meetings aim to promote the sharing of expertise, experience, and information among accident or incident investigation authorities.

 

 

They also aim to develop and strengthen cooperation among them to improve the investigation capability in the Asia and Pacific Regions.
